Our goal at Kakumei Studios

Kakumei studios was founded with the intent to use video games as a way to enrich people’s lives. To help by providing an escape from everyday life. That became my focal point on the way to creating new worlds for gamers to step into.

I was born days before the release of super Mario brothers. My encounter with this title in particular ignited my passion for video games and resulted in spending my childhood being captivated by and immersed in the incredible worlds created by Nintendo. Shigeru Miyamoto’s games inspired me so profoundly that even at that young age I knew that I had found not just my passion, but my calling in life.

At Kakumei studios it is our goal to envisage and bring to life worlds where players can immerse themselves. Worlds where their imaginations holds no limits. We want to make our players smile with excitement and feel inspired every time they play our games. It is my belief that video games more than any other industry brings people together and I feel privileged to be in a position where through our games we can contribute to making our world a more positive and friendlier place to be in.

Technological advances means we have come a long way since the 8 bit era of simplistic sprite sheets to the super detailed photo realistic expansive worlds in today’s triple A titles. Whilst the progression of technology in our industry is important, it is my fundamental belief that as developers we have the responsibility to inspire the future generations of gamers and game developers with new and fun experiences. Life is a difficult journey for most of us which is why we feel immensely proud to be able to help others along the way who may be looking for an outlet or for the inspiration and encouragement to follow their dreams. Kakumei studios may have begun as a distant dream in the mind of a child but with the passion and inspiration instilled in me through my love of games, it became a reality. It is my hope that our studio becomes synonymous with the philosophy that no matter how big or ambitious the dream, it is never too late. Kakumei Studio is testament to that.

I am still following my dreams. The existence of our company was fortunate enough to coincide with the boom in the mobile market and the arrival of game engines such as Unity 3D which allowed us to spread our games on a scale not imaginable just a few years ago. Going forward however, we have plans to expand further and as someone who is deeply passionate about console gaming, my hope is for Kakumei Studios to become a leading developer for the home console, as well as the handheld market.

I feel extremely excited about the future and whatever projects we undertake along the way, we will continue to pour our heart and soul into them with the same passion and dedication we always have. I hope you will enjoy our games and feel the same sense of wonderment and joy that I did playing as a child and still do to this day.
